Our Story

Muse Boutique has been part of Glenferrie Road since 1998. What started as a single-minded vision to bring the best of international designer womenswear to Hawthorn has grown into 27 years of considered buying, loyal customers, and a store that genuinely knows its regulars by name.

Owner and head buyer Suzi Toovey selects every piece herself. There's no buying committee, no algorithm, and no chasing whatever's trending on the runway. Suzi travels seasonally to source from labels she believes in: ba&sh, forte_forte, Joseph, MaxMara Weekend, and By Malene Birger, chosen for their cut, quality, and the kind of wearability that survives more than one season.

The edit at Muse spans contemporary and occasion wear, premium denim, outerwear, knitwear, and accessories. The price range runs from around $195 to just over $1,000. What connects it all is a point of view: investment pieces over impulse buys, clothes that work harder and last longer.

The store is at 777 Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn, a few doors down from the tram stop, open Monday to Friday 10am–5:30pm and Saturday 10am–4pm. The full collection is also available online at muse-boutique.com.au, with shipping across Australia.
